PH announces state seats distribution for Penang

GEORGE TOWN: Penang PKR will give up two state seats to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) in the 14th general election.

Pakatan Harapan secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said the two seats were Teluk Bahang and Bertam, currently held by Barisan Nasional.

Status quo will remain for the DAP state seat’s and they will contest 19 state seats which it had previously contested, he said.

“PPBM will also field its candidates on two other state seats, previously contested by Pas. They are Penaga and Permatang Berangan.

“Another three seats contested by Pas will be given to Parti Amanah Negara. They are Permatang Pasir, Sungai Dua and Bayan Lepas," he said in his speech in conjunction with Pakatan’s 10th year rule in Penang here tonight.
