[Updated] Unofficial: PH crosses simple majority mark in KKB polls

KUALA KUBU BAHARU: Pakatan Harapan's (PH) Pang Sock Tao has obtained enough votes, slightly above the simple majority needed for her to secure the Kuala Kubu Baharu state seat.

Unofficial results showed Pang, who is PH candidate for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election, polled 12,733 votes as of 8pm today.

The unofficial results showed her three other contenders obtaining Ng the following number of votes:

Khairul Azhari Saut (PN) - 9,066

Hafizah Zainudin (PRM) - 137

Nyau Ke Xin (Independent) - 170


KUALA KUBU BAHARU: Pakatan Harapan appears on track to securing victory in the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election, having almost garnered the 12,350 simple majority needed to clinch the state seat.

As of 7.58pm. unofficial figures showed that PH candidate Pang Sock Tao only needs some 850 more votes to win.

The official results are expected to be announced before 9pm.

KUALA KUBU BAHARU: Unofficial results showed Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election, Pang Sock Tao, leading the four-cornered battle at the state seat.

As of 6.28pm today, Pang has secured a total of 710 votes against her other three contenders in the by-election.

Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Khairul Azhari Saut is trailing with 222 votes.

Hafizah Zainudin of Parti Rakyat Malaysia and independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin obtained on vote each.
