Encorp Bhd is launching Akasia 2, the final phase of its Encorp Cahaya Alam township development in Shah Alam, Selangor in the current quarter.

This is following the 70 per cent take-up rate for Iris, the second last phase property launch for Encorp Cahaya Alam.

Spanning 209 acres, Encorp Cahaya Alam has a gross development value (GDV) of RM960 million and is 83 per cent developed excluding the affordable homes. The township consists of 2,414 units of double-storey link houses, semi-detached homes, a business centre, apartments, and flats.

The company's group chief executive officer Hazurin Harun said Iris is the second property phase the company launched in Encorp Cahaya Alam since the onset of the pandemic.

"We believe that this launch will bring even more growth to our company in the future," he said in a recent statement.

Iris comprises 59 units of two-storey super-link homes, with a gross development value of RM59 million.

Priced from RM950,000, each unit has a built-up of 2,575 sq ft with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The project is expected to be completed by February 2025.

For Akasia 2, it will offer 112 units of two-storey link homes, with built-ups from 2,408 sq ft.
