Yew Sin-Ee Yi give world No. 3 a scare at India Open

KUALA LUMPUR: Men's doubles Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi's campaign at the India Open ended early after crashing out of the first round to China's second seed Liang Weikang-Wang Chang on Wednesday.

The world No.27 Malaysians went down 21-12, 19-21, 21-15 in 41 minutes to the world No.3 Chinese pair at the Indira Ghandi Sports Complex in New Delhi.

Yew Sin-Ee Yi, quarter-finalists at last week's Malaysia Open, will next shift their focus to the Indonesia Masters on Jan 21-26, where they will take on Taiwan's Lu Ming Che-Tang Kai Wei in the first round.
