KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak United claimed their third win of the season by edging Melaka United 3-2 at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Saturday's Super League match.
It was the club's first win since the departure of coach B. Satiananthan, who stepped down due to health reasons.
Francis Kone's late goal secured all three points for S. Balachandran's side.
Melaka United scored through Sony Norde (18th minute) and Syazwan Andik (34th), while Gonzalo Soto (23rd) and Kone (61st) levelled for the visitors.
Kone scored a dramatic winner for Sarawak United in the third minute of stoppage time.
With the win, Sarawak United move up to seventh with 10 points.
At the Paroi Stadium, angry Pahang fans vented their anger and hurled abuses at the players after the 3-0 thrashing by Negri Sembilan.
K. Devan's side are now second in the standings with 19 points.
Negri scored through Gustavo dos Santos (34th), Yashir Pinto (48th) and
Matheus Alves (54th).
Pahang are 11th with eight points.
