Meanwhile KL's on-loan striker Jordan Mintah finally broke his duck since his move from Terengganu, scoring twice in their 2-1 win over Kedah at the KLFA Stadium.

But the City Boys equalised through Mintah's 56th penalty kick, and he completed their turnaround with a close-range header in the 72nd minute.

The Deer took the lead through Yashir Pinto (18th minute) but Kipre Tchetche equalised for the Turtles two minutes later. However, Gustavo Dos Santos ensured full points for Negri with his 52nd minute strike.
