KUALA LUMPUR: Official Kuala Lumpur 2017 (KL2017) retail apparel and merchandise will be made available to the public at participating outlets by mid-July.

This was confirmed by KL2017 Malaysian Organising Committee (MASOC) chief executive officer Datuk Zolkples Embong during a signing ceremony between MASOC and Universal Fitness and Leisure Sdn Bhd (UFL) at Wisma UFL in Kuala Lumpur, today.

The line of apparel and merchandise are expected to generate a turnover of between RM1.5 million and RM2 million for both FBT and UFL.

UFL was appointed by Sea Games' Platinum Sponsor, Football Thai Factory Sporting Goods Co. Ltd. (FBT), as the Malaysian distributor of the patented merchandise before, during and after both the 29th Sea Games (August 19-30) and the 9th Asean Para Games (September 17-23).

The official apparel and merchandise will be sold at all 33 KL2017 venues nationwide and is also made available through online purchase.
