Sea Games: Malaysia in rhythm for two dancesports gold

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia believes it is in rhythm to do well in dancesports, and eyeing two gold in breakdancing.

However, the Malaysian Dancesport Federation (MDF) is keeping a low profile as it does not want to put its athletes under pressure.

MDF will bank on Sam Jee Lek, or better known as LegoSam, winner of a gold at the 2019 edition and debutant Chong Yan Lim, who is the current No 1 in Southeast Asia.

Jee Lek is in good form, having come out tops earlier this year in an international breakdancing competition.

If all goes well, Malaysia can achieve a golden double at the dance floor in Phnom Penh.
