Day 11 of Asian Games: Malaysia set to shine in squash and diving

HANGZHOU: Malaysia will start day 11 of the Hangzhou Asian Games with three guaranteed medals.

Malaysians Syafiq Kamal-Aifa Azman, S. Sivasangari, and Ng Eain Yow will feature in three semi-finals, and anything beyond that would be better than a bronze.

Note that the Malaysian squash camp have already won two medals, a gold in the women's team and a bronze from the men's team.

Divers Kimberly Bong, Bertrand Rhodict Lises and Jellson Jabillin could add more to the national diving squad's five medals at this year's Asiad.

They will need to first make the final cut.

There will also be plenty of action from the Binjiang Gymnasium with all the big names in badminton ready to take to court.

Among them include former world champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, former All England champion Lee Zii Jia, Ng Tze Yong and last year's French Open champions Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah.

In the men's cricket quarter-finals, Malaysia will play Bangladesh.
