KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Bhd, the world’s best low-cost airline, has won the gold award under the Transport, Travel and Tourism category for eight consecutive years at the Putra Brand Awards 2017 held here, marking its continuous leading presence in the industry.
In a statement today, Chief Executive Officer, Aireen Omar said these achievements had fully manifested the airline’s continuous commitment to striving for excellence in services and also a great encouragement to motivate it to attain even better performance.
Organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia, the Putra Brand Awards are one of the highest regarded recognitions for brand excellence in the country.
Utilising a robust consumer research methodology developed by partner Effective Measure, consumers determine Malaysia’s favourite brands within multiple categories, with each category being awarded a Gold, Silver and Bronze for the most preferred brands.
