KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s unit, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPMSB), has secured two contracts worth RM282.25 million from Nusmetro Group to perform construction works located at Mont Kiara and Jalan Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
The first construction contract worth RM29.82 million is for the construction of substructure works for a proposed commercial development, which comprises three-storey basement carpark and one block of 51-storey office building to be built on Lot PT 25944, Jalan Duta Kiara, Mont Kiara, Mukim Batu, Daerah Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
Works are expected to commence on November 26, 2018 and slated for completion by September 25, 2020, it said in a statement today.
Kerjaya Prospek said the second contract worth RM252.43 million is for the construction of main building for a proposed commercial development project located on Lot PT 7176, Jalan Cheras, Mukim Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
The work is scheduled to commence on February 1, 2019 and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2022.
“Both contracts will increase its current outstanding order book and provide the group with a steady stream of revenue over the next four years,” it said.
This will bring the group’s outstanding order book to approximately RM2.86 billion.
Year-to-date, the group has secured contracts amounting to RM778.15 million.

“Backed by a huge outstanding order book, we expect this project to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending 2019 to 2022,” said Kerjaya Prospek executive chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho.
