Kerjaya Prospek's unit secures RM34.4mil contracts from related companies

KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad's wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, has accepted two letters of award from Pixel Valley Sdn Bhd (PVSB) and Greencove Sdn Bhd (GSB), respectively.

The first contract, valued at RM16 million, involves piling and pilecap works for a proposed development at Batu Kawan, Penang.

The second contract, worth RM18.4 million, pertains to site clearance, earthworks, piling, and related structural works for a proposed development at Damansara Damai, Selangor. 

Both projects, scheduled to commence on Nov 5, 2024, are expected to be completed within 18 months. 

PVSB and GSB are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Kerjaya Prospek.

These contracts were undertaken on an arm's length basis, based on normal commercial terms that are not favourable to those available to the public.

Kerjaya Prospek chief executive officer and executive director Tee Eng Tiong said, "We are pleased to secure these

two contracts, which reflect our commitment to deliver high-quality construction services."

He added that with a total of 10 contracts secured year-to-date, amounting to RM1.6 billion, the company's outstanding order book now stands at RM4.5 billion.
