KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd has rolled out an all-new Lively Tea, marking its entry into the world of refreshing tea drinks.
Nestle Malaysia said Lively Tea offered a new range that combined Malaysians' favourite fruit flavours with the infusion of extracts from plants that are known for their recharging effects on the body.
"Lively Tea is also much lower in sugar compared to other tea-based drinks," the company said in a statement.
The extracts are known as adaptogens, ingredients from plant origin known for their beneficial effects in coping with stress.
"With many Malaysians hassling through many tasks and multiple obligations, this range of innovative and refreshing drinks fits well with the demand of todays's hectic lifestyle in a conevnient, exciting and greatr tasting way," it said.
Nestle Malaysia chief executive officer Juan Aranols is excited with the launch of its first iced tea.
"Lively is here to deliver a refreshing and stimulating experience to Malaysians, to help make them reflect, refresh and recharge to navigate through the deamnds of busy days," Aranols said.
Lively Tea comes in three black tea variants, with the taste of freshly brewed tea, featuring adaptogens extracted from gurana, lemon balm and schisandra.
