KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Bank Bhd today introduced A1addin, a digital bank proposition that brings a new dimension to customers' banking experience.
In a statement today, the bank said this is Affin's first move into the digital banking space, which is expected to attract the digital-savvy generation who wishes to fulfil their banking needs whenever and wherever they are, without having to step into a bank's branch.
Affin Bank president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali said the pandemic had accelerated the demand for digitalised product offerings, evidenced by the significant increase in online transactions during the movement control orders.
"With our new digital banking proposition, the bank will be ready to embark and move towards the Internet of Things (IoT).
"We want to offer our digital-savvy customers a future-ready and hassle-free banking platform to match their banking needs anywhere, at any time.
"Customers nationwide may open and access their bank accounts without having to visit any of the bank's branches.

Affin Bank said the A1addin tagline is 'A Touch of Wonder', which signifies a wonderful customer experience with no annual fee, choice of conventional or Islamic banking capability and attractive e-fixed deposit (eFD) rates.
The A1addin and eInvest Go app is available for free and can be easily downloaded on Android and iOS devices from Google Play and App Store.
