KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Darulaman Bhd has appointed Che Had Dhali as its new chairman effective from February 1.
In its filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Bina Darulaman said Che Had was appointed as a board member on April 3, 2008 as non-independent non-executive director and later re-designated as an independent director.
He had then left the company on May 30, 2013.
Bina Darulaman said Che Had had more than 33 years of experience in the property consultancy business.
He started his career in valuation and asset consultancy services with an international company Jones Lang Wootton, Arthur Lim Valuers and Henry Butcher, Lim & Long (N) Sdn Bhd before joining Jurunilai Bersekutu as the executive director.
In 2008, Che Had was invited to join the Kedah state government as special officer cum economic and government- linked company (GLC) advisor to the then Kedah Menteri Besar and a few other states GLCs until 2010.
During his service with the state government, Che Had was involved in international discussion as well promoting Kedah's products and services in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran and Yemen.
Che Had was recently certified by the International Association of Certified Valuation Specialists as one of the international valuation specialists.
"Che Had is now a registered valuer cum registered estate agent for the IM Global Property Consultants and is currently heading the Kedah branch," it added.
