Tan Chong's GoInsuran unveils online store on Shopee

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned GoInsuran has launched its first official online store on e-commerce platform Shopee. 

GoInsuran provides car insurance and road tax renewal for road users. 

It features the latest technologies to provide an easy and seamless experience for customers - from obtaining free quotations, to making payments via various online payment methods. 

With the collaboration, GoInsurans said Malaysian shoppers can now buy its exclusive vouchers online. 

"More than 24,000 special unique vouchers will be available online, beginning in March," it said.

Tan Chong head of insurance business stream Joshua Yong said the company was confident that as a leading player, Shopee was the digital platform enabling it to reach out to a wider customer base.

"The current offering is just the beginning; we are already planning for more exciting items to be made available in the near future," said Yong.

Shopee Malaysia head of marketing campaign Kenneth Soh said the partnership would encourage more Malaysians to leverage the convenience provided by GoInsuran.

Soh said GoInsuran's customers would be able to enjoy attractive vouchers in the trusted aggregator's online store on Shopee platform. 

"This collaboration also underlines Shopee's commitment in helping brands reach new customers and unlock growth opportunities," she said.

The companies believe the collaboration heralds an exciting new chapter that will boost Malaysia's vibrant e-commerce industry.
