KUALA LUMPUR: Shoraka Suyula Platform (SSP) has secured the innovation license from Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the leading global financial centre in the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia.
The license is an important step in Shoraka's regional expansion journey.
Managing Director of Shoraka Digital Ventures (DV) Johar Amat stated that being present in one of the world's most vibrant fintech hubs would enable SSP to tap into the pool of global talents and the vast networking available at the DIFC Fintech Hive.
"The license will be a step in the right direction for SSP to build on its journey beyond the Southeast Asia region, and it marks a major milestone for SSP for its global expansion plan beyond its home market," said Johar.
SSP is a subsidiary of Shoraka DV, the digital technology arm of Shoraka Group.
Shoraka Group is a Malaysian-based company with an interest in high-growth technology serving the digital technology industry.
It develops several of its fintech platforms which include the SSP.
The official license handover was celebrated at the DIFC by both parties on June 30.
