In a statement today, the construction company said the latest contract brought the company's total contract value to RM631.16 million, allowing Haily to kick-off the year 2023 on a strong footing.
Haily's wholly-owned subsidiary, Haily Construction Sdn Bhd has received the letter of award from RDC Arkitek Sdn Bhd, the architect appointed by Austin Senibong Development Sdn Bhd for the construction of 77 units of three-storey shop offices and three units of Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) sub-stations.
The shop offices will be located at Bandar Jaya Putra in Tebrau, Johor.
Earlier in December 2021, Haily had won a RM40.67 million contract from Austin Senibong to construct 99 units of three-storey shop offices for a different phase of commercial development within the Crest@Austin project.
Haily founder and executive director See Tin Hai said in a span of less than a month, the company has won two major contracts - a RM52.30 million contract from Mah Sing Group Bhd's subsidiary which was accepted on Dec 29, 2022 and this latest award from Austin Senibong.
"This shows that the company is well-positioned to ride on the industry growth, as the property sector sees a stable recovery.
"Austin Senibong has been one of our major clients since January 2020, and with the latest contract, it signifies their continued trust in our quality of work.
"With the latest job win, our order book currently comprises 25 ongoing projects with a total contract value of RM631.16 million, which is expected to be progressively completed between 2023 and 2024," he said.
