Steel Hawk major shareholders ask board to consider leap to ACE

KUALA LUMPUR: Steel Hawk Bh's major shareholders, namely Radiant Capital Sdn Bhd and Dato' Sharman Kristy A/L Michael, have requested that the company's board of directors consider transfering its listing from the LEAP market to the ACE market.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Securities, UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd, on the behalf of the board of directors of the company, said the board (save for Sharman, Salimi Bin Khairuddin, Khairul Nazri Bin Kamarudin and Datin Annie A/P V Sinniah, being the interested directors of Steel Hawk in relation to the proposed transfer) will deliberate on the proposed transfer.

Listed on the LEAP market in October 2021, Steel Hawk is a Bumiputera company providing technical and engineering support services in the oil and gas industry in Malaysia.

One of the key difference between the LEAP market and ACE market is that while LEAP companies can only accept investments from sophisticated investors and accredited investors, ACE market is open to all and sundry.
