LTAT chief executive Ahmad Nazim departs after more than 2 years at the helm

KUALA LUMPUR: Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) in a statement today announced the departure of its chief executive Datuk Ahmad Nazim Abd Rahman effective today.

Nazim was appointed as chief executive in June 2021.

LTAT chairman General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor said LTAT is currently in the search of a new CEO.

Nazim's departure comes less than two months after a Cabinet reshuffle saw the appointment of Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin as Defence Minister, replacing Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

Mohamed Affandi said Ahmad Nazim was an integral part of LTAT's growth and success.

"We laud his efforts in ensuring LTAT and its stakeholders' interests, particularly contributors, are not only safeguarded, but will also continue to grow."

"We wish him the very best in his future endeavors. As we begin the search for a new chief executive, we remain focused on executing our strategic priorities and delivering value," he added.

Under Ahmad Nazim's leadership, the organisation achieved significant milestones, including the launch of LTAT Strategic Plan 2023-2025.

His strategic vision and unwavering commitment propelled LTAT towards becoming a sustainable provident fund.

"It has been a privilege to serve as the chief executive of LTAT. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together as a team, and I am confident that the organisation is well-positioned for continued success in the future," Ahmad Nazim said.Ends
