SHAH ALAM: This year's Hari Raya celebration was made more special and meaningful for some 160 orphans as they received "duit raya" from Zaiyadal Sdn Bhd.
The orphans from Rumah Anak Yatim Kesayanganku were presented with the cash donation during a Hari Raya open house celebration organised by the company at KT Ballroom KWE Shah Alam.
Zaiyadal group executive director Datuk Lukman Ibrahim said the donation was part of the company's commitment to supporting the community, especially during festive seasons.
"Hopefully, this small effort by Zaiyadal can bring joy and smiles to all orphans for Aidilfitri this year," he remarked during the donation handover ceremony.
Zaiyadal was incorporated in July 1992 as a family owned investment holding company .
The founders of Zaiyadal are Zaid Abdullah and wife Zaidah Mohd Salleh.
The company and its subsidiary are principally involved in the provision of agriculture , aquaculture , food and beverages and trading.
