KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of MyEG Services Bhd after disposing 21 million shares.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, MyEG said the disposal was done on May 10. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company noted on Tuesday tvat the EPF held 394.07 million shares in it or a 5.28 per cent stake.
For the financial year ended Dec 31, 2023, MyEG posted a net profit of RM487.65 million, up 22.32 per cent, compared to RM398.66 million in the previous year.
MyEG's share price was up five sen or 5.10 per cent to RM1.03 on Wednesday.
