UBS pushes back US rate cut forecast to December

June 13 (Reuters) - UBS Global Research said it now expects the U.S. Federal Reserve to start reducing interest rates in December, compared to an earlier forecast of cuts beginning in September.

"The data is going to need to change a lot of minds to bring people back to cutting in September, and start doing so in the next two months, in our view, to realistically put September on the table," UBS economists, led by Jonathan Pingle, said in a note on Wednesday.
