KUALA LUMPUR: Yes 5G stands firm in its commitment to providing affordable and accessible 5G technology for all Malaysians, says YTL Communications Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Wing K. Lee.
According to him, the mobile operator aspires to provide a platform for Malaysians to express their frustrations with their telcos through the Malaysian Voices campaign, addressing issues such as their false "unlimited" claims, overpriced data plans, and capped speed with slow connectivity.
"These concerns should not be overlooked, and we are here to empower Malaysians to make informed telco choices. At Yes 5G, we believe that it's time to confront these frustrations head-on," he said in a statement.
Yes 5G is taking over billboards across the city to champion Malaysian Voices on unaddressed telco issues, highlighting the widespread frustrations felt by many users.
Its latest offering features uncapped 5G data and speed, with free unlimited 5G roaming in Singapore, for only RM38 per month with the Infinite postpaid 12-month contract, making it the most affordable uncapped 5G postpaid plan in the market.
The Infinite+ plans offer even more benefits, including a free 5G smartphone for as low as RM58 per month.
"Unlike other telcos, Yes 5G doesn't implement the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) in their products or services, where customers can thoroughly enjoy their 5G data without any speed restrictions or worrying about depleting their quota.
"This commitment to transparency and fairness empowers customers to explore and utilise the full potential of Yes 5G's network," the company said.
Yes 5G has been recognised for its outstanding performance, winning Ookla's Speedtest Awards for Malaysia's Fastest Mobile Network two years in a row.
This accolade underscores the brand's unwavering dedication to providing its customers with the best 5G service available, despite its affordable and accessible pricing.
