TnG Digital unveils e-Mas, target 500,000 e-wallet users to subscribe

KUALA LUMPUR: TNG Digital Sdn Bhd has introduced a gold investment product, e-Mas, available through its e-wallet, providing users with an easy way to diversify their investment portfolios.

The e-Mas product will be supported by CIMB Bank Bhd as the liquidity provider.

It will also enhance TNG Wallet's current investment options, offering users an easy entry into gold investment starting from RM10 without any hidden fees.

The fintech company stated that the new product aims to deliver a superior investment experience with a smooth, fully digital process.

"Users can monitor gold prices with live updates and manage their investments directly from the eWallet.

"e-Mas represents just one of the many financial services products offered under the investment feature of TNG eWallet, aimed at empowering Malaysians to make better financial decisions," it added.

TNG Digital chief executive officer Alan Ni said with e-Mas, the company is expanding the variety of investment products available within the TNG eWallet.

"We are extremely honoured that our efforts to democratise the access to digital financial offerings, such as digital gold investment, are supported by the Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo.

"With e-Mas, we are committed to offering a wide variety of products to cater to the diverse investment risk appetites among our users," he said.

TNG Digital expects e-Mas to reach 500,000 subscribers by the end of the year.

Alan attributed this expectation to the positive early response from customers during the product's pre-launch last week.

"Though it was not open to all, over 40,000 people have already started investing.

"We are confident this will become the largest gold investment portfolio in terms of users," he told reporters at the press conference.
