KUALA LUMPUR: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd says it has completed more than 1.5 gigawatt (GW) of solar projects since its diversification into renewable energy (RE) in 2021 through the acquisition of Founder Energy Sdn Bhd.
To date, Reservoir Link completed a total of 1,513 megawatts (MW) in solar projects.
Reservoir Link executive deputy chairman Thien Chiet Chai said this is a testament to the expertise of the company's team which has solidified its position as a leader in the burgeoning RE space.
However, Thien believes that this is just the beginning of its journey given the imminent listing of Founder Energy on the Nasdaq this year.
"We are truly excited for what the future holds for us as we continue to chart the course for a cleaner tomorrow in line with the growing adoption of renewables accelerating the shift towards the transition to clean energy for a more sustainable future," he said in a statement.
Reservoir Link has since substantially grown its solar project portfolio and has solidified its presence in Malaysia as one of the leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service providers.
The achievement also underscores the company's commitment and focus towards RE solutions as it continues to develop a healthy pipeline of solar projects.
