KUALA LUMPUR: UCrest Bhd has signed an agreement with United States' Seecure Holding Corp to market and support the iMedicTM platform services in the Americas market.
The services, which include iMedic Optic ophthalmology Artificial Intelligence (AI) product, will be sold in the North, Central and South America continents.
In a statement, UCrest said healthcare delivery through digital communication or online healthcare has changed substantially.
"The online accessibility of personal electronic medical records and the rapid development of wireless medical devices have enabled healthcare to transform from the traditional clinical setting to the patient's home, office or anywhere, enabling remote and borderless healthcare services."
It said remote patient monitoring market size in the US was estimated to be US$13.40 billion in 2022 and expected to reach US$25.28 billion by 2028, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 11.16 per cent.
UCrest noted that robust Internet of Medical Things (IOMT) technology with over 30 FDA-approved wireless medical devices connections and the AI data analytics and detection for abnormality are the two cutting edge technologies that iMedic has that are the most ideal for automating the remote patient monitoring for patients with chronic diseases.
The comprehensive customer relationship management or patient relationship management capabilities in iMedic platform would play a significant role in empowering doctors to focus more on the treatment and care plan, giving rise to better efficacy.
"Both companies share the vision that empowering patients to manage their own health with remote monitoring and escalation to the doctors when abnormality is detected by the AI engine in iMedic.

Remote patient monitoring is a type of digital health in which healthcare providers monitor patients outside of traditional care using digital medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, oximeters, blood glucose meters, digital BMI machines and ECG device.
Vital signs collected from these devices is uploaded automatically to the Cloud to the chronic care management providers.
Automated AI analytics and workflows is incorporated into data collection to flag abnormalities or critical readings and automatic escalation to the respective doctors or specialists.
Seecure currently has over 800 accounts and is expected to grow to 5,000-10,0000 accounts in 2025 with the expansion of distribution channels both online and offline.
iMedic is made available to these customers immediately.
