NCT Group signs pact with five firms during SIBS 2024

KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Group's subsidiary NCT Smart Management Sdn Bhd has signed several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with five companies during the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2024  with an estimated total value of RM25 million. 

The MoUs, NCT said, are set to enhance industry benchmarks at the NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP), Malaysia's first managed industrial park located in the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS) being developed by the group.

NCT Management signed with Honor Aigrafx Innovative Intelligence International, Harta Maintenance Sdn Bhd, JMM Lightings Sdn Bhd, Zinxer Paint Marketing Sdn Bhd and OK Coating Sdn Bhd. 

NCT Group founder and group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy said it is aware of the importance of investing in advanced technologies and sustainable practices to boost infrastructure and operational efficiencies of NSIP, with minimal  impact on the environment. 

"Together with our partners' unique strengths and offerings, we are leading the way with industrial park development that elevates the NSIP experience for buyers and investors while we progressively transition towards becoming the first net zero emissions park by 2050," said Yap. 

On hand to witness the signings was  Selangor state executive council for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han. 

The company's collaboration with Honor Aigrafx will introduce meta experience technology systems to NSIP, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) hub. 

The transformative technology will create numerous collaboration opportunities and enhance processes, ultimately fostering an improved working environment at NSIP.

On the energy front, an MoU was signed with Harta Maintenance to develop comprehensive energy management solutions aimed at optimising energy consumption and substantially reducing costs at the facility. 

Complemented by cleaning services that utilise sustainable equipment and products, the partnership represents a step forward in achieving NSIP's sustainability goals.

Additionally, JMM Lightings will supply essential building materials that will facilitate the park's construction and operational requirements. 

Known for its wide-range ofsolutions, particularly in energy-efficient LED lighting solutions, the alliance is poised to enhance the overall energy efficiency of the park and create a safe and reliable ambience for its tenants. 

The MoU with Zinxer Paint ensures the supply of high-quality decorative and industrial coatings for NSIP. 

The collaboration with OK Coating will  see the supply of premium wood and metal surface coatings for NSIP. 

NSIP, a project valued at RM10 billion in gross development value, spans 269 hectares and will be completed in three phases.
