KUALA LUMPUR: Agmo Studio Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of digital solutions provider Agmo Holdings Bhd, has been appointed as a strategic integration partner for MyDigital ID.
According to the statement, Agmo Studios will assist in integrating MyDigital ID with various applications across both government and private sectors.
"This role highlights Agmo's expertise and robust capabilities in digital solutions and integration," it said.
MyDigital ID is a government initiative under MIMOS Bhd, an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).
The technology behind MyDigital ID provides secure authentication to protect users from phishing attacks and ensures minimal privacy exposure by using digital certificates without real-time access to a centralised identity management system.
Leveraging MyKad, it facilitates national-level transaction authentication and digital signing, ensuring widespread acceptability and trust.
Agmo Holdings chief executive officer Tan Aik Keong stated that the partnership demonstrates the company's commitment to supporting government projects and improving digital security for Malaysians.
"Our team at Agmo Studio is ready to leverage our expertise to ensure the successful integration of MyDigital ID, contributing to a more secure digital environment," he said.
It was up half a sen to 72.5 sen earlier, giving it a market capitalisation of RM235.6 million.
