Minetech wins job for Banting industrial park

KUALA LUMPUR: Minetech Resources Bhd's subsidiary Minetech Construction Sdn Bhd has secured a RM4.05 million contract from VED Engineers Sdn Bhd to carry out road and drainage construction for Banting Industrial City. 

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the project is set to commence on June 28, 2024, and is expected to be completed within three months.

Minetech executive chairman Abang Abdillah Izzarim said the contract contributes to advancing infrastructure development.

"The Banting Industrial City contract is not just a testament to our robust expertise in civil engineering, but also a strategic enhancement to our competitive edge in the industry.

"We are committed to delivering this project with the highest standards of quality and efficiency, ensuring substantial value creation for our stakeholders and further solidifying our position in the industry," he added.

As at 5pm, Minetech shares closed at 14 sen for a market capitalisation of RM258.8 million.
