KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia closed the morning trading session in the red, dragged by plantation and property sectors.
At 12.30pm, FTSE Bursa Malaysia (FBM) KLCI was down 0.1 per cent or 1.68 points to 1,623.89.
The key index opened marginally higher at 1,625.87 and moved between 1,621.44 and 1,626.35.
The broader market saw losers led gainers 560 to 365 while 475 counters were unchanged.
The index board was a sea of red with FBM100 losing 0.08 per cent to 12,099.24, FBM Emas dropped 0.07 per cent to 12,508.16 and FBM Ace slid 0.33 per cent to 5,642.92.
Of the actives were Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd, which added 18 sen to RM7.36, and Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd, which rose 40 sen to RM109.
