KUALA LUMPUR: Short selling in Notion Vtec Bhd's shares has been suspended for the second time in a week, after its share price dropped more than 15 per cent.
Its share price has been on a downtrend due to a bleak earnings guidance for the coming quarter ended September 2024.
On August 23, short selling of the stock was also suspended after its share price plunged almost 29 per cent in morning trade before paring losses to trade 17.5 per cent lower at RM1.13 by midday.
Bursa Malaysia Securities said short selling in the company's shares will resume tomorrow at 8.30am.
As at 3.10pm, Notion Vtec's share price was down 16.2 per cent or 17.5 sen to 90.5 sen from RM1.08 on Monday's closing bell.
The stock opened unchanged and dropped as much as 17.6 per cent to 89 sen today.
