OCS, Antah Group set up JV to digitalise facility services industry

SHAH ALAM: Facilities services company OCS and Antah Group have formed a strategic joint venture to enhance digitalisation within the facility services industry.

Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo lauded the partnership as a prime example of how innovation and excellence in the facility services industry can be harnessed to support Malaysia's broader digitalisation agenda.

He said it set an example for industry leaders in leveraging digital technologies to drive growth and innovation.

"The formation of Antah OCS Services is a testament to the potential of digitalisation within the facility services industry. "By integrating advanced digital solutions, this joint venture is not only enhancing operational efficiency but also contributing to the broader national goals of sustainability and economic growth," he said in his speech at a signing ceremony between the two companies here today.

OCS is a global leader in facilities services across sectors including government infrastructure, manufacturing, datacentres, healthcare, and aviation.

Meanwhile, Negri Sembilan state royalty-linked Antah Group is a prominent conglomerate with a strong presence in industries including healthcare, power generation, property development, IT and telecommunications.

The joint venture agreement was signed by Antah Strategic Services Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Tunku Alauddin and OCS Asia Pacific and Middle East chief executive officer Roland Salameh.

The partnership aims to expand its footprint in the facilities services sector and enhance the delivery of high-quality solutions in Malaysia.

Tunku Alauddin said the collaboration between Antah and OCS signifies a new chapter in the journey towards excellence in facilities services.

"By leveraging our collective strengths, we are poised to set new benchmarks in service delivery and operational efficiency, thereby contributing significantly to the nation's economic and digital ambitions," he said.

Roland added that the joint venture marks an important milestone in OCS' journey to expand business across Malaysia and strengthen local footprint. "I am excited about the numerous opportunities this partnership will bring and our ability to contribute to Malaysia's ambitious economic growth and development plans," he said.
