KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Bhd organised a fun-filled badminton day for children from the non-profit charity, House of Joy.
The event showcased NCT Alliance Ambassadors along with Malaysia's prominent men's doubles badminton players, Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun, offering young participants a unique chance to engage with and learn from national athletes in a casual, friendly setting.
This CSR initiative brought together 30 participants, including children aged 12 to 17 from House of Joy, as well as staff from NCT Alliance.
Man and Tee shared badminton tips and played friendly games with the children.
"At NCT Alliance, we believe in creating memorable experiences that can inspire our youth. This chance to hang out with our national badminton stars, Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun, is truly special.
"We chose badminton, one of our nation's most beloved sports, as a fun way to connect with these young individuals following the recent Malaysia Day celebration. Our aim is to spark their interest in sports and show them that with passion and support, they can achieve great things," said NCT Alliance executive chairman and group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy.
NCT Alliance also donated RM3,000 to support the ongoing work of House of Joy Children's Home.
This CSR activity aligned with the NCT Alliance's vision of excellence in project development while maintaining a strong commitment to social responsibility and positively impacting society, particularly in inspiring the youth through unique experiences.
Earlier this year, NCT Alliance organised its inaugural "Road to NCT's Junior Badminton Championship" in partnership with Petaling Badminton Club, featuring the same national badminton players as ambassadors.
