KUALA LUMPUR: Tuju Setia Bhd today bagged a RM411 million contract to build a high-rise and landed residential development, or Sunway Serene 2, in Kelana Jaya.
In a statement, the construction services company said its subsidiary, Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd (PTS) received the Letter of Award (LOA) from Sunway Serene Sdn Bhd for the development project.
Sunway Serene Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunway Bhd.
"PTS will construct a two block 45-storey tower with 9 level of podium carparks and 2 level of facilities; 2 rows of 2-storey Super Link landed units and 1 row of 3-storey Super Link landed units. "The project is for a duration of 40 months," it said.
Tuju Setia managing director Wee Eng Kong said this third project under the Sunway brand not only demonstrates their confidence in the company's capabilities in delivering quality work, but also reinforces its reputation as a builder of choice for prominent property developers. The Sunway Serene 2 project is Tuju Setia's third contract from Sunway.
The two other Sunway projects currently under construction are Sunway d'hill Residences in Kota Damansara and Jernih Residence in Kajang (Joint Venture between Sunway and MKH Bhd).
The project marks Tuju Setia's fourth win in 2024, bringing its year-to-date total to RM1.19 billion.
Tuju Setia's share price closed unchanged at 23.5 sen a share, giving it a market capitalisation of RM74.6 million.
