SINGAPORE: Singapore's non-oil domestic exports fell 4.6 per cent in October from the same month a year earlier, data on Monday showed, as shipments of non-electronics decreased while electronics grew. The fall compared with downwardly revised growth of 0.9 per cent in September from 2.7 per cent previously.
On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, non-oil domestic exports fell 7.4 per cent in October.
The September figure was revised to a fall of 0.6 per cent from a rise of 1.1 per cent previously.
Non-oil domestic exports to Singapore's top markets declined as a whole in October from a year earlier, with the biggest contraction a 22.3 per cent fall in shipments to China.
