Malaysia Airports Holdings was among the top gainers in early trade after a consortium led by Khazanah Nasional launched a formal offer to privatise the company at RM11 per share, last Friday.

The stock rose 8 sen to RM10.66.

The 30-stock key index was still trading below the 1,600 mark, despite small gains in early trade, amid weak regional sentiment.

The FBM KLCI will likely trend between the 1,595 and 1,605 points range.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin crossed the US$90,000 mark again today, trading at RM405,185 on Coinbase.

On crypto exchange Luno, it was priced at RM392,493.
