KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Rakyat celebrated the winners of its Mega Personal Financing-i Campaign today, rewarding 73 lucky participants with prizes worth over RM400,000.
The campaign, which ran from Sept 1 to Nov 30, saw Norayati Johari from Johor crowned as the grand prize winner, taking home a BYD Atto 3 electric car.
The second prize, a BMW CE 04 motorcycle, went to Syahida Zakaria from Perak, while the third prize, an umrah or holiday voucher worth RM20,000, was awarded to Nuzatul Shima Lahudi from Sabah.
In addition to the top prizes, other winners received attractive rewards, including iPhones, Modenas motorcycles, iPads, 5-gram gold wafers, and Riza Plus Investment-i Accounts worth RM1,000.
Speaking at the Prize Presentation Ceremony at Menara Kembar Bank Rakyat, Acting Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Shahril Mohd Shariff said the campaign was part of the bank's efforts to appreciate its loyal customers.
"This campaign was organised to appreciate the support and loyalty of customers throughout Bank Rakyat's 70 years of establishment while offering attractive prizes through the 'Subscribe and Win' concept," he said.
Due to the overwhelming response, Ahmad Shahril announced that the campaign will be extended for the second phase from 1 December 2024 to 28 February 2025 to allow more customers to participate and win prizes as part of the bank's New Year celebrations.
Additionally, Ahmad Shahril revealed that Bank Rakyat is running a special Rizq Plus Investment-i millionaire draw in January 2025.
Bank Rakyat also announced the upcoming 'Muslimah Fest 2024,' which will take place from 20 to 22 December 2024 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), Kuala Lumpur.
"We invite the public to join us at the festival, especially those preparing early for Ramadan and Aidilfitri next year," Ahmad Shahril said.
