KUALA LUMPUR: Cable and wire manufacturer Southern Cable Group Bhd's subsidiary Southern Cable Sdn Bhd has secured a RM172.57 million contract for the supply and delivery of cables and conductors in East Malaysia.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Securities today, the group said the contract will be for a period of 24 months, from Dec 20, 2024 to Dec 19, 2026.
The company did not disclose the client for the contract.
At the time of writing, Southern Cable's share price was up two sen or 5.50 per cent to RM1.17, giving it a market capitalisation of RM1.03 billion.
