KUALA LUMPUR: The acceptance of takeover offer of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd has been extended by Gateway Development Alliance Sdn Bhd (GDA) consortium.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, AmInvestment Bank, on behalf of the consortium, said the new deadline is Jan 17, replacing the previous date of Jan 8.
Aside from the revised closing date, all other details, terms, and conditions of the offer remain unchanged.
As of Jan 6, the joint offerors and joint ultimate offerers collectively held 1.17 billion MAHB shares, representing 70.08 per cent of the company's total shareholdings.
Previously, the consortium - comprising Khazanah Nasional Bhd, the Employees Provident Fund and GIP Aurea Pte Ltd - had offered to take MAHB private at RM11 per share.
MAHB's share price ended lower by four sen or 0.38 per cent to RM10.48, giving it a market capitalisation of RM17.49 billion.
