Tex Cycle named Ho Wai Mun as COO, Lee Junyan CTO

KUALA LUMPUR: Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd has appointed Ho Wai Mun as chief operating officer and Lee Junyan as chief technical officer.

Ho, with over 12 years at Tex Cycle, has excelled in business development, marketing, and operations management.

A graduate of Help University in Mass Communication, he joined the company in 2011 as a business development executive and advanced through roles such as marketing manager and senior general manager.

As a certified professional in scheduled waste management, he has driven client relationships, operational success, and sustainability-focused strategies.

Lee, who holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, joined Tex Cycle in 2016 as a technical engineer.

He has led key renewable energy projects, including the waste-to-energy gasification power plant, and, as senior technical manager, spearheaded research and development initiatives, boosting operational efficiency and sustainability.

The appointments come in line with the group's continued expansion, both through mergers and acquisitions and organic growth, as well as their longstanding service and contributions to the group and the industry.

Group chief executive officer Gary Dass Anthony Francis said the appointments come at the right time as Tex Cycle continues its strategic growth trajectory.

Tex Cycle's share price closed unchanged at RM1.09 on Friday with a RM306.5 million market capitalisation.
