KUALA LUMPUR: Embracing the sharing and giving tradition of the holy month of Ramadan, Shopee, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, distributed packed meals for breaking fast to NSTP staff yesterday.
Marianne Chuo, Marketing Lead at Shopee said the distribution is something Shopee looks forward to every year when Ramadan comes and this year the company prepared 550 sets of packed meals for all three publications —NST, Berita Harian and Harian Metro.
“Coming over to Balai Berita and distributing breaking fast meals to the journalists have been our tradition over the past years. Ramadan is a time for sharing and reflection, and being able to spend time with our media friends is our little way of saying thank you. We also thank our partner, Mondelez, for generously contributing Cadbury chocolates and Chipsmore cookies to sweeten this effort,” says Chuo.
