KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Sanjna Suri, 31, will marry her Belgian boyfriend, Bram Demeulenaere, 35, on Jan 17.
Sanjna said that it was not her intention to keep her engagement ceremony with Bram last April a secret, but she wanted to wait for the right time to share her happy day with the media and fans.
"Many people did not know except for close friends," she told Harian Metro.
The Pulau actress said that Bram, who works as a consultant in Dubai, was the best man to be her husband.
"We've been in a relationship for five years and six months, including a long-distance relationship when Bram was working in Europe before.
"Bram has the same character as my father, who is a hard worker. In addition to being smart at financial planning, he is also good at planning for the future," said the winner of Miss Supranational Malaysia 2018 and Miss Intercontinental Malaysia 2017.
Sanjna added that she would continue with her artistic career as usual after marriage as Bram has no intention of curtailing her interests.
