HAVE you ever wondered how our beloved city Kuala Lumpur looks like from sapce? Well, Airbus recently, for the first time, released some images of Kuala Lumpur city centre taken from the Airbus Pléiades Neo 3 satellite.
The Pléiades Neo 3 was launched and secured in orbit in April 2021. It is part of the Airbus Pléiades Neo constellation.
According to company, the satellite is capable of providing 30cm resolution combined with the most accurate geolocation, and it brings a significant level of information required for precise large-scale mapping up to 1:2000 scale.
The crystal clear photos show location and buildings such as the KL city centre, KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers and KL Convention Centre.
