THE Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has launched MyDataHub.ai, a platform providing access to RM150 million in financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Its chief executive officer, Ts Mahadhir Aziz, said this is a collaborative initiative between MDEC and Dattel Asia Group (DTL), aimed at enhancing the digital business landscape for SMEs in Malaysia.
"The platform enables businesses to manage, control and share their digital data to secure financing and optimise marketing efforts," he said.
Mahadhir said that the platform integrates digital platforms, financing partners, and marketing partners to create audience profiles for better targeting and to discover new audiences and opportunities.
"MyDataHub.ai was built in alignment with the 'National Data Sharing Policy' to ensure that businesses can benefit from data sharing. Finance and marketing services are just the beginning of what this platform offers.
"I hope through more collaborations we can expand both services and service providers," he said during the event launch at the World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Meanwhile, DTL chief executive officer Ashran Ghazi highlighted that SMEs are primarily concerned with growing sales and securing quick capital.
"MyDataHub.ai addresses these needs by providing financing and marketing solutions. We aim to impact 1,500 SMEs," he said.
The launch event took place during OHSEM Marketing 360 (OHSEM360), a platform designed to equip SMEs with the latest technology and marketing solutions.
MDEC, in collaboration with Media Prima and DTL, supports the OHSEM Marketing 360 initiative, highlighting the transformative potential of MyDataHub.ai.
The event featured three main components; the special launch of the MyDataHub.ai platform, Ohsem talk sessions with nearly 25 industry experts in AI, data, advertising, and TikTok sharing insights, and exhibitions where over 40 exhibitors showcased technology and marketing solutions.
Mahadhir emphasised the importance of data and AI for businesses, stating that they must be made simple and actionable.
"Events like OHSEM360 are great initiatives driven by the private sector in support of the government to educate the market on the importance of AI and data.
"At MDEC, we are proud to support and partner with Media Prima and DTL on the OHSEM Marketing 360 initiative, which this year focuses on an initiative that is set to be a game-changer for SMEs.
We believe that businesses can gain valuable insights into optimising their marketing strategies and enhance their competitive edge, aligning with our mission to promote digital adoption among SMEs and drive sustainable growth in the digital economy," he said.
