A Disney collaboration has become one of the highlights in The dUCk Group's launches. It was an adventure that began in 2018 and even included a Frozen collection based on the animated movie.
Last weekend saw another collaboration, this time with Minnie Mouse, featuring eight shawls, eight square scarves, lipsticks and cosmetic pouch bearing the iconic Minnie bow. In under an hour, some shawls were already OOS-- that's out of stock, in case you're wondering.
Bold colours like black-and-white called Rock Your Bow and maroon-and-white Steal The Show were crowd favourites. Some other shades, especially pastel ones, are still available both online and at its stores, but best to call the stores ahead to avoid disappointment.
The brand says Minnie is a certified fashion icon who has inspired millions across the globe. "You'll easily make out the allure of the fashion icon in our Disney x dUCk - Minnie Mouse Collection of scarves, makeup pouches and inspired the sweet and vibrant colours of the collection,"
"In the scarf design, we created a kaleidoscope from her unmistakable silhouette. You'll see Minnie's reach in all directions as a sign of her everlasting global influence and as a dashing touch, we modelled her in dUCk's signature monogram style along the scarf borders," the press release says.
Minnie's iconic bow also takes its shape in the make-up pouch as the centrepiece of the travel accessory. There's also a collection of lipstick in the line-up.
Perhaps this collection was finalised way before Covid-19 kicked in, because otherwise, an adorable dUCk x Minnie Mouse reusable face mask would have completed the collaboration.
