As the director of research and development for Buds Organics, He started the brand in his home kitchen with his co-founder and sister, Soo Siew Peng in 2004. They siblings wanted to create quality skincare products that were natural, pure, and eco-friendly.

In line with their core values, Siew Peng and KK chose to have their products certified by Ecocert as it's the world's most thorough, stringent, and transparent organic certification body.
Ecocert requires that 95 per cent of the ingredients used in any product be of natural origin and there are extremely strict restrictions on what is allowed in the remaining five per cent too.
"As a family business, our guiding principle has always been this: whatever we offer to the world must first be good enough for our own cherished ones," says Siew Peng, the managing director of Buds Organics.
