Jamal Abdillah ties the knot for the fourth time

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular crooner Datuk Jamal Abdillah, 58, has tied the knot for the fourth time, to a 23-year-old woman from Kulim, Kedah.

However, he has declined to reveal the details of his marriage, and will make an official statement “when the time is right”.

“I got married last month, but that’s all I can say about it for now,” said Jamal in his WhatsApp account on Tuesday (May 23).

It is learnt that Jamal’s marriage took place in his hometown, Ipoh, last April 1, and the ceremony was attended by immediate family members of the couple.

Jamal also held a thanksgiving ceremony at his house in Shah Alam on Monday, but denied that it was to mark his new marriage.

“It’s a tahlil ceremony for my late parents, and to mark the coming of Ramadan as well as a house-warming party,” he revealed.

Jamal’s first marriage was to Basariah Abdul Latiff in 1988. They were divorced in 1996, and he married Intan Noraina Mohd Yusof in 2001. In 2006, he married Fatimatuzahra Samad, but they were divorced a year later.

The singer has two sons, Osama Yamani, 16, from his marriage to Intan Noraina and Ahmad Zaki Yamani, 11, from his marriage to Fatimatuzahra.
