STERN warnings to female fans, urging them to keep a distance from their husbands, have been popping up on the social media screens of actors’ wives, in the wake of Afifah Nasir’s alleged “outing” with Singaporean actor and singer Aliff Aziz.
Tya Adnan, the wife of actor Syukri Yahaya said on Instagram yesterday: “Many women are oblivious to the status of married men. They persist in flirting with them, and behave like home-wreckers.
“My advice to them is, please stop stealing husbands including mine.
“There are many bachelors out there.”
Her message garnered more than 35,000 likes. It came two months after a woman claimed that the actor sent a “naughty” message to her via WeChat.
Syukri, the star of television series Dia Isteri Luar Biasa and 7 Hari Mencintaimu, denied sending any message to her.
Last Sunday, actress Almy Nadia sent an equally
stern warning to fans not to “disturb” her actor husband, Fizz Fairuz.
Her Instagram message said: “Don’t attempt to steal my husband, else you’re going to get hurt!”
Almy and Fizz got married in 2014 and they have a 3-year-old daughter.
A year after their marriage, Almy claimed that an actress tried to steal her husband by sending him romantic messages via WeChat.
Actress and businesswoman Rozita Che Wan, who
is married to Oh My English! actor Zain Saidin, posted
a message addressed to
“all female fans”, which warned: “Age does not matter. Please don’t steal our hubbies!”
A similar message was posted by singer and actress Azzarima Zawari or Azza of pop group Elite.
She said her husband of five years, Azlan Zulaily, 30, had been “chased after” by admirers and told her fans to “keep their distance” from him.
Female fans’ alleged “harassment” of their favourite actors have taken place in the last two years.
It was reported in December 2015 that Adam Shahz
of drama Juvana and his actress wife, Fatin Afifah, admitted that several women sent him messages of “friendship”.
Describing these fans as “publicity-seekers”, Adam and Fatin uploaded a screengrab of one woman’s conversation with Adam, in which she begged him to meet her in the nearest possible time.
