Yuna honoured to perform at the closing ceremony of ASEAN Para Games 2017 on Sept 23

KUALA LUMPUR: Fresh off her engagement to film director Adam Sinclair, singer-songwriter Yunalis Zara'ai has another exciting thing to look forward to – her performance at the closing ceremony of next month's ASEAN Para Games 2017.

News on Yuna, 31, performing at the Para Games was made known by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin via Twitter last Wednesday.

He tweeted: “Don’t forget ASEAN Para Games 17-23 Sept. Our Luarbiasa heroes! Plus, @yunamusic will be performing at Para Closing 23 Sept!”

When contacted by the New Straits Times today, the award-winning artiste who is now back in Los Angeles, said: “I am glad to be part of the ASEAN Para Games this year as one of the performers.

"It is an honour to be part of this prestigious games and of course to support our Malaysian athletes. Can’t wait for September!”

However, she did not indicate the song she will be performing at the Para Games' closing ceremony.
